Longtime coach Brendan B. reports, "the season began with a tenacious core of returning players, along with a few bright new personalities. Led by captains Laila O. '25 and Bailee C. '24, the team lives and breathes the value of commitment." Opening the season against Sandy Spring (who hasn't lost to Burke in five years), the squad "brought home a hard-fought tie at 1-1. Clara E. Z. '24 delivered an individual effort into the corner after beating three opposing players in the box. Brendan adds "they trust each other and know that when they work together, they can be unstoppable."
