Space Farming Report
7th grade Life Science has been studying the effects of cosmic radiation on plant seeds.
Amy C. reports, "We are growing bok choy and trying to determine the impact of irradiated seeds. We send weekly updates to NASA Botanists and the Growing Beyond Earth program," a citizen science initiative "to advance NASA research on growing plants in space." (The 7th grade class wants to know when they'll be able to eat their experiments.)
