Bengal Beat: Post-Season - Baseball and Softball
Congratulations to the softball and baseball athletes who were named to the 2024 Potomac Valley Athletic Conference (PVAC) all-conference team:

Baseball - HS
Heading into the post-season as the #2 seed in the conference, the Bengals were dominant in the quarter-finals against Spencerville on Tuesday, May 7, winning 10-0. They advanced to the semi-finals against rival Field and just missed (by a single run!) moving on to the championship game. The Bengals wrapped up their season with a 6-3 conference record. Senior Will H. '24 concludes a great three years with Burke baseball and has truly left a mark on the program.
Softball - HS
The Bengals concluded their season in the quarter-finals on May 7. Kevin reports that this gritty team "fought through injuries and sicknesses and were able to end the season on a strong note." Special shout-out to seniors Beatriz C. '24 and Stella T. '24. Their skill and leadership will be greatly missed.
