Mid-Year Admissions | 2024-25
In some cases, we are able to consider applications after the school year has begun. Here’s how that process works.
Why do students apply for mid-year admission?
Life is complicated and, historically, reasons have varied. Sometimes a family is moving to the area with little notice or contending with another life change. Sometimes a student will start the year at one school and realize they need something a bit different.
Which applicants tend to be successful?
Students who would be strong candidates during the standard admissions cycle and show adaptability and enthusiasm for Burke. Joining a class after the year has begun can be challenging and exciting – and we want it to be a positive experience.
What's the deadline?
Please be in touch as soon as possible. We do not consider mid-year admissions once the Winter Trimester has begun (following Thanksgiving Break).

If a student is admitted and enrolls, we work to set their schedule as soon as possible.

As of September 2024: 6th, 9th, and 10th grade.
