Faculty Spotlight: Maureen M.
While completing a graduate certificate in African Studies at Boston University, Maureen (HS History) crafted a new unit on Ancient Africa for Burke's 9th grade.
She began designing the unit two years, took six courses to build her knowledge base, and edited the unit over two trials before it went through peer review. Maureen recently presented to the African Studies department at BU, which will now add her work to its public-facing teacher resources.
