Week of September 16:
How Monuments Are Made
6th grade Core, with Sean and Emily, visited the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial. Sean writes, "they are exploring the idea of why a nation makes monuments and how we decide who to honor in our lives. They will design and sketch their own monuments and then construct them using Minecraft."
