Rising Leaders
Friday, February 7 marked the annual 9th Grade Leadership Retreat, managed by select juniors and seniors in the Leadership Program.
As Stacy S. (HVE) reported, "our students truly ran the day and adult voices were few and far between. Our student leaders presented all the major curriculum of the day; in small teams, they also led games and icebreakers. [...] The retreat also highlighted areas where students can lead at Burke and challenged them to think about what good leadership looks like and how they can continue to lead well."
