Bengal Beat: Winter Wrap-Up
HS and MS Swimming
Following assorted schedule shake-ups due to snow, the swim teams wrapped up a great season at the DCSAA Championships in DC and the Middle School Championships at Holton Arms in Maryland.
Senior and swim team lifer Emma P. '25 recorded the highest finish for the HS girls' team (15th in the 100 free), with strong showings by fellow seniors Campbell S. '25 and Sophia M. '25 and by Miriam T. '26 in the 500 free and Elena M. '26 in the 50 free.
For the HS boys' team (PVAC Conference Champions), senior Max F. C. '25 recorded top 20 finishes in the 50 free and 100 fly and, with Odin G. '27 and Jack J. '26, brought in the Bengals' top eight finishes. Both teams finished in the top 10 overall, competing against schools up to six times our size!
