Jenn C. reports, "on January 23, eighteen 8th grade students participated in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC8). This is a challenging nationwide exam hosted by the Mathematical Association of America, with 25 questions to solve in just 40 minutes. The exam requires creative, out-of-the-box problem solving strategies!" Congratulations to Caroline H. '29, Corin M. '29, and Lucy M. '29 (pictured), who tied for the top spot at Burke.
